SUBMISSION OF ANY ENTRY CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AS A CONTRACT BETWEEN ENTRANT (AND EACH INDIVIDUAL MEMBER OF ENTRANT), THE HACKATHON SPONSOR, AND DEVPOST.

1. Dates and Timing

  • Submission Period: Friday, September 19, 2025 (00:00 Hanoi Time) - Monday, September 22, 2025 (11:59 Hanoi Time) (“Submission Period”).

  • Judging Period: Tuesday, September 22, 2025 - Friday, September 26, 2025 (“Judging Period”).

  • Winners Announced: Friday, September 12, 2025.

3. Eligibility

The Hackathon IS open to:
  • Individuals who are of legal age of majority where they reside as of entry date.

  • Teams of 2-3 Eligible Individuals (“Teams”). No solo entries.

  • Organizations that exist and have been incorporated at the time of entry.

The Hackathon IS NOT open to:
  • Residents of countries or territories restricted by U.S. law.

  • Employees, contractors, or agents of Danta Labs, Devpost, or their affiliates, and their immediate families.

  • Judges and their employers.

  • Any party whose participation would create a conflict of interest, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

Minors may participate with a signed parental consent granting rights to submit and cede the project if required.

4. How to Enter

Entrants must:

  1. Register on the Hackathon page on Devpost by clicking “Join Hackathon.”

  2. Get Maestro Access by signing up at http://hack.dantalabs.com/ to receive API keys and credits.

  3. Join the Community on Discord via https://discord.gg/YvSgHcyNQz .

  4. Complete and submit all required information on Devpost before the Submission Period ends.

Project Requirements

What to Build:
Using Maestro, build and host projects that take advantage of its deployment and API capabilities.

  • Productivity - Tools that save time for specific users. Examples: automations for school, CRM updates, email parsing, or social media integrations.

  • Finance - Solutions to improve personal or corporate finances. Examples: expense trackers, budget managers, or credit assessment agents.

  • Education - Tools to help people learn and stay updated on AI or other topics. Examples: interactive tutors, summarizers, or quiz generators.

  • Wildcard - Anything else that uses Maestro and delivers value.

Functionality:
The project must run as described and be deployed on Maestro with a live endpoint or Agent ID.

New & Existing:
Projects must be created during the Hackathon or significantly updated to solve a new use case during the Submission Period.

Third-Party Integrations:
You must be authorized to use any SDKs, APIs, or data sources included.

Submission Requirements

Submissions must include:

  • Project page on Devpost with description and problem solved.

  • Public GitHub repository with an approved OSI Open Source License and README (setup, usage, example API calls).

  • Demo video (2-3 minutes) showing the project running end-to-end.

  • Live endpoint or Agent ID.

  • Optional architecture diagram and notes on tradeoffs or future work.

Multiple submissions are allowed if each is unique and substantially different.

6. Judges & Criteria

Judges selected by the Sponsor will evaluate submissions based on:

  • Submissions will be judged on the following weighted criteria (total 100%):

  • Problem/Solution Fit - 25%
    How well the agent solves a clearly defined problem for its intended audience.

  • Number of Agents in the System - 10%
    Total distinct agents in the solution and how they interact.

  • Number of External API Connections - 10%
    Total unique, functional integrations with external services.

  • User Usability - 15%
    Ease of use, onboarding flow, and clarity of instructions for end-users.

  • Agent Autonomy - 20%
    The percentage of the process handled independently by the agents without human intervention.

      Users vote which of the agents is the most interesting use case

Tie-breaking will follow the order of criteria above.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Entrants retain ownership of their submissions. Sponsors may use them for judging, promotion, and showcasing. Sponsors may commercially exploit winning projects under a separate agreement with the team.

8. Prizes

Overall Prizes:

  • 1st Place - $1,000 USD + 300 Maestro Credits + Certificate

  • 2nd Place - $500 USD + 200 Maestro Credits + Certificate

  • 3rd Place - 100 Maestro Credits + Certificate

All Participants: Agent Builder Certification

9. Entry Conditions and Release

By entering, Entrants agree to:

  • Comply with these rules.

  • Release and hold harmless Sponsor, Devpost, and affiliates from any liability related to participation or prizes.

10. Publicity

Entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and submission for promotional purposes without further compensation.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor may cancel or modify the Hackathon if necessary. Any attempt to undermine the competition may result in disqualification.

12. Limitations of Liability

Entrants release Sponsor, Devpost, and affiliates from liability except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited by law.

13. Disputes

All disputes are subject to binding arbitration under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
